Evolving Mind Body and Soul is ready to grow, and we want you to be a part of it. We are seeking an OT that is focused on improving the outcomes and daily lives for people living with a disability, with a focus on consumers who have a mental health diagnosis.
Evolving Mind Body and Soul is a boutique company led and run solely by mental health occupational therapists. Our OTs specialise in working with children, young people and adults with a psychosocial disability including a diagnosis of mental illness, behavioural challenges, learning disabilities and autism.
Evolving Mind Body and Soul provides a range of high-quality occupational therapy services to its clients including mental health support, disability services planning, low-cost equipment prescription, capacity building and report preparation. As a company we have an in-depth knowledge of the NDIS service provision model and expert skills in enabling people with a disability to take a more active role in their lives by building their capacity to engage in the things that matter for them.
We have an established footprint in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney as well as the Shellharbour/Wollongong area. We are well connected with other local providers in these areas who also specialise in supporting people with a mental illness.

- You will be working with an experienced and established OT team who will mentor and support you during your journey with us, including regular supervision.
The role will be based primarily in the Inner West and Eastern Sydney suburbs with the opportunity to expand to other areas based on your current living location.
Your role will be focused on assessments, planning and conducting therapy sessions and preparing reports for young people and adults. You will engage with clients in a variety of home environments and group home settings across the area.
We will equip you with the right tools and knowledge to conduct visits confidently and independently as well as support your training and development in your desired client population.
You get to choose your hours so that you are in control of your desired workload as your hours build up.
ABOUT YOU (ESSENTIAL CRITERIA)
We are looking for a values-aligned professional with:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent, and current full registration with AHPRA.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues, clients and key stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Desire to follow a team culture that puts the customer first with a focus on quality work
- Willingness to contribute to ongoing development of services
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have own car and current driver’s licence (Required)
- Police Check (Required)
- Working With Children Check (Required)
- CPR Certificate (Required)
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
